Tuition4Maths Service Terms

Tuition4Maths provides online maths tuition for IB, (i)GCSE, A-Level and exam preparation. Lessons are personalised to the student's level, goals and agreed subject focus.

Tuition is educational support and does not guarantee a specific grade, exam result, school placement or outcome. Progress depends on attendance, effort, independent practice and the student's wider learning context.

Bookings are subject to tutor availability. A lesson time is confirmed once Tuition4Maths has accepted the booking and any required payment or deposit has been received.

Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate student details, exam board information where relevant, availability and any learning needs that may affect lesson planning.

Lesson fees, packages and payment timing will be confirmed before tuition begins. Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be made before the lesson or by the invoice due date.

Tuition4Maths may pause or decline further lessons where fees remain unpaid.

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Where less than 24 hours' notice is given, the lesson may be charged in full unless Tuition4Maths agrees otherwise.

If Tuition4Maths needs to cancel a lesson, we will offer a rescheduled session or credit for the missed lesson.

Students need a stable internet connection, a suitable device, working audio and access to the agreed online lesson platform.

A parent or guardian should be contactable during lessons for younger students. Lessons may use interactive whiteboards, screen sharing and digital resources.

Students are expected to attend on time, behave respectfully and come prepared with any requested materials, homework or questions.

Tuition4Maths may end or refuse a lesson if behaviour is abusive, unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate.

Worksheets, lesson notes, worked examples and other materials provided by Tuition4Maths are for the student's personal study only.

Materials must not be copied, shared, sold, published or used commercially without written permission.

Tuition4Maths aims to provide a professional, respectful and appropriate learning environment. If a welfare or safeguarding concern arises, Tuition4Maths may take appropriate action, including contacting a parent, guardian, school or relevant authority where necessary.

Parents and guardians should tell Tuition4Maths about any arrangements or needs that are important for safe and effective online tuition.

Tuition4Maths will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Tuition4Maths is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by you, missed lessons, technical problems outside our control or matters beyond reasonable control.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page applies from the date listed unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
